On February 19, 1942, President Franklin Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, which authorized the incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans in desolate camps throughout the U.S. Our documentary film tells the poignant stories of three generations of Japanese Americans, whose families were incarcerated during World War II, and the long-term impact of the incarceration experience on them as descendants. Our film reveals the fallout of injustice. Film Screenings and Panel Discussions are now taking place to examine Executive Order 9066 and Executive Orders today as we strive to preserve our freedom, our democracy and our humanity.
